Classes Though we offer six classes a week, it is completely
normal for some clients to only be able to make between three to five classes. Some clients may only come two to three times a week due to
work, family matters, and everything else life can throw at you. There
is no wrong schedule at NEPA CrossFit. Classes will run for 55 minutes beginning on the hour. Each class will include a warm up and stretching, a period of instruction on the exercises being performed that day by a certified CrossFit trainer, a safety brief, the workout of the day, and then a cool down. All workouts will be modified/scaled by the trainer to fit every fitness level. Each WOD (workout of the day) will be scaled into five categories. Level 5 will the prescribed workout and will be for advanced CrossFitters. Each level will be a step down in intensity and difficulty of exercise. Level 1 will be an introductory level suitable for young adults and the young-at-heart. Clients will be evaluated and recommended a level but may choose whichever level they wish within reason. Any exercise deemed unsafe for a client due to injury or fitness level will be substituted with an exercise of equal range of motion capabilities. To keep classes as comfortable and personal as possible class sizes will be no greater than eight clients per hour. To ensure the safest environment possible for our clients a minimum of three mandatory Elements Classes must be taken before a client can join the normal class schedule.
